Nina Gora

Nina is the Gender Lead at Oxfam in Greece. She previously worked as Regional Gender Advisor for Oxfam in the Middle East and Commonwealth of Independent States (MECIS). Prior to this she was a Programme Manager at country, regional and global levels, including as Gender and Governance Manager with Oxfam in Afghanistan where she was responsible for both stand-alone women's rights programming and gender mainstreaming within the country programme. As a consultant, she has conducted Gender Analyses of ECHO and USAID-funded programmes in Afghanistan, Iraq and Tajikistan. 

She also supports women's rights through campaigning in the UK and is the co-founder of Accountable Aid, which aims to increase communication with affected communities. Nina holds a degree in Human Rights from LSE, where she focused on conflict, development and international law.
