Tariq Riebl is a Programme Coordinator in Oxfam's emergency response and resilience team (RRT). He has many years experience of managing large-scale humanitarian responses in water, sanitation and hygiene (WaSH), emergency food security and livelihoods (EFSL) and protection. Since Tariq joined Oxfam in 2010 he has coordinated emergency responses in Yemen, Liberia, the Philippines, DRC and Ethiopia and worked as a temporary Country Director in Chad and South Sudan. In 2015 Tariq was voted RRT member of the year by his peers at Oxfam.
Prior to joining Oxfam Tariq worked for the International Rescue Committee, Doctors Without Borders (MSF) and Afghan Aid as an Operations Manager, Field Coordinator and Project Manager.
Tariq has a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and Management from Georgetown University and a Masters degree in Sociology from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
