Sometimes a mother's love isn't enough

Stima does everything she can for her little boy, as any mother would. But her love can't make dirty water clean and keep him safe. A gift from you could.

Her love can't make dirty water clean

Another day without clean water could kill Stima's little boy. He's been sick for days already because of the filthy water he has to drink. They both have.

The water is so deadly, there's now a life-threatening cholera outbreak in Stima's village - causing sickness, diarrhoea and severe dehydration. But cholera and other water-borne diseases can so easily be prevented.

Oxfam is working in Stima's community, building toilets and training people on safe hygiene.

50 water purification sachets, at a cost of just £3, can provide a family like Stima's with clean water for a week.

I feel like I want to vomit all the time. I can't sleep at all. I'm worried as my neighbour died from cholera two days ago.
