National contexts

Oxfam Education supports teachers in England, Wales and Scotland.

Oxfam has a wealth of experience supporting teachers and educators across the UK. We have a wide range of education resources for ages 5-18, tailored to the national curriculum where you are. These resources can help your learners explore the world around them.

Whether you want to cover a topic in an individual lesson or fully embed global citizenship across a whole module, we have a resource for you.

We deliver professional development workshops to help you embed global citizenship into your lessons. On top of this, we have exciting opportunities for young people to gain skills, broaden their knowledge and create real change in their communities.

We provide bilingual teaching resources housed on Hwb, the digital education platform for Wales.

Oxfam Cymru supports the Wales Alliance for Global Learning, chaired by the Welsh Centre for International Affairs, in their development of global learning education in Wales.

Oxfam Scotland supports the IDEAS Global Citizenship network and regional Global Learning Centres to implement global citizenship in schools.
