How To Avoid The 'Christmas Shopping Panic'

The days are getting colder, the nights are drawing in and there are some questionable songs being played in every store on the high street... It can only mean one thing- Christmas is coming. I've ignored it for as long as I can but no longer can I push these feelings of anxiety aside. I'm going to have start the mammoth task that is Christmas shopping.

Now I'm no Scrooge, it's not that I don't like Christmas, I love it. The thing that brings dread to my very soul is Christmas shopping. I panic that I'm going to buy the wrong present and over compensate by buying a thousand and one things for each person. My friends and family receive a mountain of completely absurd panic bought gifts that were clearly the result of an advertisement induced mental breakdown.

So this year I'm only going to buy one present per person. One each for everyone, planned well in advance. This will hopefully result in presents that people actually want and also allows me to buy one extravagant gift that will be loved for longer rather than just thrown out after a month or two. So this is what I've got so far on my list of big extravagant ethical presents:

Komodo Coats

Above: Komodo Manchu Coat in two colours and Komodo Chloe Coat

These Komodo coats are perfect for cold winters and their classic styles will stay in fashion for many years to come. They are high quality and will last you for years when looked after properly. And I haven't even mentioned Komodo's fantastic ethical credentials...

O My Bag Handbags

These leather handbags are simply stunning and will last and last for many Christmas's to come. Their ethical credentials are second to none- you could literally not ask for a more ethical leather company- please check out their website to find out more.

Designer Brands: Oxfam Online

If you want to splash out on a loved one and feel incredibly good about yourself in the process then this is definitely your best option- designer brands from Oxfam. These beauties have all been pre-loved but are still in wonderful condition to be given as gifts. I can't believe the incredible selection online- but remember there is only one of each so get online quick before they go!
