Oxfam Fashion has been keeping up to date with some of the brilliant ideas for Get Together in the UK. Whatever you love doing, baking to biking, fashion to flapjacks Oxfam is encouraging you to host an event to celebrate International Women's Day on 8 March.

The aim is to raise money to help women worldwide live life without poverty. The 2013 celebrations launched with an event in London hosted by broadcaster and writer Lauren Laverne and below are some of our fave ideas so far....

Super fashionista Grace Woodward has been promoting a Hot Fudge Knit-A-Thon - we like the sound of this!

The brilliant Manchester Women's Institute are hosting a vintage mad hatter style tea party. This takes place on Saturday, 9 March at Manchester's Virgin Money Lounge on King Street between 1pm and 4pm.

We all love a bit of cake at Oxfam Fashion and this event in Knutsford had some amazing baked goods!

How about a crafty tea party in Bath? Go down to the Green Park Brasseire at Green Park Station between 2-5pm on 9 March.

Oxfam Shops have also been promoting Get Together up and down the country; here is Oxfam Marlborough's shop window
