This is a super-easy and super-quick fashion DIY which will add a touch of glamour to a plain top or tee. My beloved pearl effect necklace broke and , rather than fixing it, I thought of something much more exciting to do with the loose pearls.

YOU WILL NEED

Pearls
A top, t-shirt or blouse
Super Glue/Strong Fabric Glue
Cardboard
Pencil
Ruler

STEP ONE
Place pearls in the desired position on the top. If you're going for a symmetrical pattern use a ruler to line up the pearls. I used the design of my top as a guide choosing to place the pearls in the top section.

STEP TWO
Once satisfied with your design pencil mark underneath each pearl this will help you to keep the position of the pearls as they tend to roll, even when on a flat surface.

STEP THREE
Remove pearls and place cardboard in between front and back of top so that the super glue doesn't stick both sides together.

STEP FOUR
Super glue pearls down, placing them on the pencil marks as you go.

STEP FIVE
Leave to dry. Ta dah pretty pearl embellishment!

How to care for your pretty pearl embellishment: Hand washing at a cool temperature is the best way to take care of your pearly fashion DIY.
