17th Jun 2013
After a yearlong rest in 2012, the legendary Glastonbury festival returns, revitalised and refreshed, for what promises to be an incredible offering.
Doors open on Wednesday 26th June and Oxfam Fashion will join the approx 150,000 revellers setting up camp at Worthy Farm. We will be in and around the three Oxfam Festival Shops as well as style spotting across the site.
Headline acts on the Pyramid Stage are The Rolling Stones, Artic Monkeys and Mumford & Sons which is just a tip of the iceberg of musical talent performing at the four day event. There's music from every genre and sub-genre imaginable plus a whole host of performing arts including a circus tent (!).
Team Fash kicked off our festival adventures last week at the epic Isle of Wight Festival and Glasto is our next point of call. We're feeling optimistic about the weather for the Glasto 2013 which is notorious for its mud. We'll pack the wellies (just in case) but here's a summery selection of fashion picks from the Oxfam Online Shop...
Sequins are the staple sparkle to glitz up your festival wardrobe. Wear with shorts or leggings for the ultimate glamorous look. Glastonbury is renowned for its quirky, relaxed, hippy vibe so make sure you pack your fair share of florals and earthy colours. Accessories are key so don't forget a good hat, shades and chunky jewellery.
If you're at Glastonbury next week, be sure to pop into one of the Oxfam Festival Shops and say hi!
