There has been a massive and welcome growth in regional fashion weeks and this year, Oxfam Percy Street got involved with the widely successful Newcastle Fashion Week.
Models from Boho, the North East's premier modelling agency, took to the runway at Northumbria University Students Union in an array of the shop's finest pieces.
Curated by Volunteer Assistant Manager, Roxana Petra, a team of six volunteers with guidance from Shop Manager Yvonne Lyall, the show was organised over two months with plenty of sorting and steaming taking place to produce a catwalk worthy line up of clothing.
"It was fantastic to be placed alongside other high street retailers such as Primark, Topshop, Topman, Next and Urban Outfitters and I think we came across really well," said Volunteer Assistant Shop Manager Alison Rebello.
"The idea behind it was what the current trends on the high street are and we had a really good response from people and the volunteers who were involved on the day really enjoyed it."
