The Perfect Designer Coat From Oxfam

I reluctantly left looking for a winter coat until the January sales. My reason being that I haven't been very lucky with coats I've spent a lot of money on (they only last for a year, break or go missing etc). So this year, with a budget of £60, I was determined to find a great coat that would last. After weeks of looking online and around every high street shop in London, I couldn't find the perfect coat for me. Just as I was about to give up and spend the duration of winter in my leather jacket, I headed to West London to try my luck in a few Oxfam shops.

I stumbled across this gorgeous Marc Jacobs wool felt coat in the first shop I try - Oxfam, Notting Hill. (This branch is now a favourite of mine for coats and jackets - I have since bought a beautiful leopard print Whistles coat). I found this beauty in near perfect condition and after a dry clean, it looked as good as new. For £60, I managed to get a great quality, designer coat for the price of a high street one. After a quick Google, I found out that the original price was over £400! I should have started my search with Oxfam in the first place...

Find your local Oxfam Shop here, or take a browse at the coats on Oxfam's Online Shop and see what you can find.
