Oxfam North August update

Big Bra Hunt art attack Bold Street

The sun's been shining, the television's been full of Olympic coverage and at Oxfam North we've been:

  • Preparing for Voices, a media training course open to all Oxfam volunteers and supporters.
  • Admiring Oxfam Bold Street's big bra art attack, organised by shop volunteer Liv (pictured above). Liv used 210 bras, many of them donated by Countess of Chester Hospital.
  • Excited about meeting some llamas on the Fair Trade Way.
  • Getting ready for the Oxfam Alderley Edge community book festival.

As always, all of this is possible thanks to the generosity of Oxfam's many volunteers and supporters across the north of England. And there are many ways you can get involved too - from donating a few hours each week to volunteer in one of our shops to joining our GROW campaign for a fairer global food system.
