There are lots of things you can do to generate much-needed media coverage of the plight of the Syrian people and to make their stories heard.
Join our candlelit vigil in London on 13 March
Oxfam is joining with Save the Children, Amnesty International and others to hold a candlelit vigil, celebrity contributions and a spectacular audio-visual installation sharing the hopes and fears of refugees. As part of the #WithSyria campaign, similar vigils will be taking place all over the world from Russia to Jordan and the US. We need a really great turnout to demonstrate global solidarity with the people of Syria and convince world leaders to do all they can to stop the conflict.
Date and time: 13 March 2014, 6-7pm
Location: Trafalgar Square, London

Hold your own vigil
If you can't make it to London, we'd love you to hold your own candlelit vigil on the 14 March or in the run-up to the anniversary event. To find out how to go about it, here's a guide (PDF, 630 KB) to help you plan. A vigil would make a great follow-up action for your MPs if they've taken part in our postcard activity. If you haven't got involved yet, read more below!
Faces for Syria
Join Faces for Syria by sharing your image. On 14 March, the eve of the 3rd anniversary of conflict in Syria, your picture will join thousands of others to form part of an iconic image that will be featured in vigils around the world. You'll also participate in a mass update across Facebook and Twitter highlighting the desperate need for peace in Syria.
Together, we will shine a light for all those people struggling to survive through this brutal war. We will show every Syrian child, woman and man that we are with them, that we are #WithSyria.
