Questions about fundraising

If you're unsure about something, it's worth having a look at some of the most common questions we're asked about fundraising.

Paying in your donation is simple. You can pay it in online or post a cheque payable to Oxfam to: Processing, Oxfam House, 2700 John Smith Drive, Oxford, OX4 2JY. Remember to include a note that this is money you've raised and let us know if you'd like it to go towards a specific appeal.

Please don't send cash in the post.

To claim Gift Aid on your fundraising, we must have the first name or initials, last name, full home address and postcode of each individual donor/sponsor. So please encourage them to tick the Gift Aid box on your sponsorship form when they sponsor you. Without these details we legally can't claim Gift Aid - so be strict with your supporters!

You can fundraise for a particular item in our fantastic Oxfam Unwrapped catalogue. You can buy lots of things from a school desk and chair to a whole classroom! To find out more, give our friendly Oxfam Unwrapped team a call on 0870 410 5030. (Monday to Friday - 9am to 8pm, Saturday and Sunday - 10am to 5pm).

Thank you so much for raising money for Oxfam, we really appreciate your support! Please send us a cheque made payable to 'Oxfam GB' to:

Oxfam House
John Smith Drive
Cowley
Oxford

It would be great if you could also let us know how you raised the money (and be sure to include your name and address so that we can send you a thank you letter!)

In the 2018-19 financial year, Oxfam reached more than 12.8 million people worldwide. 9.7 million people affected by conflict and disaster were given life-saving assistance. We helped improve the lives of 3,160,000 people in the long term, through projects that addressed people's right to be heard, sustainable food, gender justice, and more. We couldn't have done it without you. You can find stories of the life-changing impact of our work here. Thanks for your support.

Yes. You can donate to or fundraise for individual emergency appeals and our Oxfam 365 emergency fund, which helps fund our humanitarian response work worldwide all year round.

You cannot change the logo in any way and you must ensure that you represent Oxfam correctly. Commercial organisations are not permitted to use Oxfam's name or logo without our prior written consent - contact privatesector@oxfam.org.uk if you want to get a company involved who may want to use our name. You can download the Oxfam logo here.
