Comic-Con Specialist (Cardiff)


We need help marketing and selling a huge quantity of valuable Super-hero comics either online or at an event to raise much needed funds to support Oxfam's vital work establishing a just world without poverty. We need help selling and marketing items online to raise those funds. This role is for a regular volunteer to help take our sales and fundraising to the next level. Ideally, you will be able to offer regular half or full day each week as a minimum.

Key responsibilities:

Sorting and processing donated comics

Photographing and describing items for inclusion online

Potential to sell direct to public at events online

Skills and competencies:

Previous experience working with Super-hero comics essential

Basic keyboard and photographing skills

Experience in marketing and selling would be very useful

What this role can offer the volunteer:

You will be joining thousands of volunteers who "won't live with poverty"

Marketing and selling experience

References may be supplied subject to attendance and performance

Lunch and travel expenses may be reimbursed in line with Oxfam's policy
