Jane Cotton, Oxfam's Human Resources Director, said:

"Dolores Clifford is a well known and much loved part of the local community and very much the face of Oxfam, adored by staff, fellow volunteers and customers alike. We're delighted to see her substantial contribution to Oxfam being recognised in the Queen's New Year Honours list."

"Dolores has always gone the extra mile with her customer service as well as being an inspiration to other volunteers and student groups."

The 79 year old, from Oadby, has volunteered for Oxfam for 12 years and is known for her dedication. Oxfam estimates her incredible contribution being over 25,000 hours of volunteering.
