Batik Textile Original African Art Wall Hanging

£16.99

Product description

Batik Textile Original African Art Wall Hanging

A keenly observed, and skilfully rendered African scene capturing the essential shape and movement of the water carriers. Made by the wax and hand dying batik method.

Size
29 inches (74 cm) x 20 inches (51 cm)
Colours will vary between monitors.

The fabric retains the stiffness of the wax used in its making and will be posted rolled up in a cylinder to avoid folds, but it can tolerate a cool iron. The fabric is semi-transparent and the colours seen will be affected by the colour of the backing. Colour reproduction will vary with monitor.

A fantastic wall hanging or framed picture. A visually lyrical depiction of water carriers with a pleasing rhythm of repeat intertwining shapes.
