About the artist:
Claire Winteringham has been a professional artist (paintings, illustration and design) since 1978.
Her highly individual watercolours - landscapes, still life, flowers - are usually drawn from life and combine inspired use of colour with superb drawing ability and embody a natural sense of design.
Individuals and corporations worldwide have acquired her paintings through exhibitions and private shows in the UK and abroad. Her work has been published as books, posters and cards and her paintings selected by, among others, The Royal Watercolour Society at their Bankside Gallery in London, and the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour.
Commissions include work for Sir Richard and Lady Branson, Birmingham City Museum and Art Gallery, alongside LSA international, John Lewis Partnership (Waitrose), Marks and Spencer, Worldwide Fund for Nature, Save the Children Fund, and Dunoon Ceramics, which also feature among her design clients.
