An original signed watercolour by Northumberland-based artist, Mary Ann Rogers, donated recently. We have opened a dialogue with Mary Ann and she has confirmed that this is her original work. The watercolour itself is in very good condition, although the purchaser may choose to reframe according to their own particular taste.
Mary Ann has viewed the pictures and advises "Both of them date back before 2007, when we scanned and saved all paintings. They are both in good condition, and don't seem to have been exposed to excess light, as the colours are great."
For background information, the following has been extracted from Mary Ann's website.
Mary Ann Rogers paints vibrant watercolour paintings full of energy, from an in-depth knowledge of her subject matter. Her studio is surrounded by the wild hills of Northumberland, whose inhabitants, along with her own menagerie of birds, feature in her work and delight the visitors to her country house gallery.
Mary Ann’s work is highly collectable, is exhibited in selected galleries throughout the UK, and features in many private collections worldwide.
