Published in 1940 by Scholar's Facsimiles and Reprints, and complete with introduction by Joseph Quincy Adams, Director of the Folger Shakespeare Library, this slim volume is one of a series of facsimiles of rare early texts published before 1940 in New York. Silvester Jourdain's Discovery of the Barmudas, now exceedingly rare, was published in 1610 and is an early chapter in the discovery of the Americas and hard to find in UK. This very good copy lacks a dust jacket, cream cover with paste on title shows marks of handling. and is slightly bumped at corners. Spine has darkened over time. Overall in very good condition.
