Written by Christopher Kelly, published by Thomas Kelly in 1838, outlining the Battle of Waterloo in detail. Contains engravings. Title page reads " A Full and Circumstantial Account of the Memorable Battle of Waterloo: the Second Restoration of Louis XVIII; and the Deportation of Napoleon Bonaparte to the island of St Helena, and every recent particular relative to his conduct and his mode of life in exile, together with an interesting account of the affairs off France, and biographical sketches of the most distinguished Waterloo heroes. Embellished with engravings". An addition at the back of the book covers the death of Napoleon

In good used condition for age, with some foxing and a couple of water marks. Half leather binding with marbled paper, very worn, with bumped and exposed corners and one corner has lost the leather and paper. Usual damage to leather at head and tail of spine, boards scraped and rubbed at edges. Hinge cracked internally, missing end papers, engraved frontispece. Some gold tooling to spine. Block good and tight.
