Hardback; 170 x 240 mm; red boards in half leather (red) with raised bands on the spine; titles in gold on spine; 60 pages; top edge gilt. No dust jacket.
The book is in very good condition. The binding is sound and tight. Some tanning of the front and back blank leaves. Marbled endpapers discoloured around the edges of the free endpapers. Discoloration of the fore edges of the leaves visible when the book is closed.
A Monster Too Many is a charming tale of two boys, Sam and Joe, who encounter a sea cow in a pond in their local park and the events that follow, leading to the boys plan to return the creature to the sea. The illustrations are equally delightful.
