Good condition for a second-hand book: light wear to hardcovers and spine, mainly to cover corners and spine ends, light bowing to front cover along top and bottom edges, <1 sq cm open surface tear to rear cover, 0.7cm closed tear to binding at spine top end, minor water damage to top corner of front cover and following pages; light fading to endpapers edges, light soiling to front pastedown endpaper, light surface rusting to binding staples exposed at page III, corresponding stains and tears to inside edge of facing page, pages are generally clean with clear text and illustrations throughout.
