Good condition for a second-hand book: moderate edge-wear to dust-jacket with chipping to spine top end, bottom end of spine folds and top end of rear flap fold, lesser chipping to remaining flap folds, three small closed tears and light creasing to rear top edge, moderate tanning to jacket, especially to spine, light stains to spine; very light edge-wear to hardcovers and spine; gift inscription to half-title page, light partial tanning to endpapers, light soiling to page edges, faded green publisher stain to top edge of pages, occasional foxing internally, otherwise internally fine given age of book.
