Bow Bells, Volume IV: A Weekly Magazine of General Literature and Art

£40.00

Product description

This 19th century periodical is an insightful step into a prior age, with boatloads of content and an exhilarating array of typical illustrations. Within are various tales, many worthy of novels in their own rights, all the while accompanied by veritable works of art. This affordable periodical stayed within the Dicks family from the 1866 date of this volume's publication, all the way through into the 1960's. A book over a hundred and fifty years old is a book to be treasured always. History and literature lovers especially would have no regrets in purchasing this venerable tome.

Considering its age, this book is worn as expected, yet retains its allure, its content and is in decent condition considering. One page in a hundred may be loose, and occasional pencil marks and signs of ageing are apparent. It remains a fabulous read!
