Built Before the Flood - The Problem of the Tiahuanaco Ruins

£40.00

Product description

The Tiahuanaco ruins are certainly very ancient: H.S.Bellamy, argues like others, that the evidence of calcified remains of marine plants 11,500 feet up on the plateau shows that it was originally at sea level, and therefore predates the great catastrophe and flood. Bellamy ascribes this to a great planetary girdle-tide. This raised the sea-level by over two miles on either side of the Equator, caused in turn by a predecessor of our Moon orbiting into Earth; an even greater catastrophe was caused by its impact, which also destroyed Atlantis and the remains of Lemuria.
This copy is the second impression from September 1944.
The cloth covered hardback is faded but otherwise sound. The binding is in good condition. Overall the pages are in good condition and the fold-out chart at the back is in very good condition. However, there are various annotations and a sticker inside the front cover. An interesting press cutting has been pasted in opposite the title page. Some pages have pencil annotations.
