Volumes I to X of Cassell's Encyclopaedia of General Information, circa 1900s. with coloured plates and maps and numerous full-page engravings.

Hardback maroon cloth boards with gilt lettering and book spine decoration.

Books in good, used, condition with slight foxing and marks on book boards as well as light discoloration of pages (See photos for examples), but otherwise in good condition.

Originally part of a 'Special' subscribers only edition, not available to general sale.

Oxfam Shop Pangbourne

We have an exciting shop with a constantly changing stock of good quality women's and men's clothing, books, children's clothing, toys and books, homewares and household linen, DVDs, computer games, CDs, vinyl and sheet music. We also stock a good selection of greetings cards, and (new) Oxfam sourced products as well a wide range of Oxfam Unwrapped gifts. We are able to take cash donations for current Oxfam campaigns. 

We accept donations of items for sale in the shop during shop hours, 09.30 to 17.00, Monday - Saturday. Large donations can be delivered to the back of the shop (please ring the doorbell).

We are sorry but we cannot take donations of mains electrical goods or furniture.
