Hardcover quarto done in brown cloth; 1926; list of plates, introduction by Dodgson and more detailed catalogue of all one hundred engravings. Limited edition, no 46 of 350. 100 plates in all with plate no.100, 'The Cooling Stream' used as frontispiece. Each engraving had a titled tissue-guard. The artist, Blampied,
was born in Jersey, Channel Islands and elected to the Royal Society of British Artists in 1938. Blampied's many engravings depicted rural life in Jersey. His illustrations appeared in many newspapers and magazines.

Good condition; some wear to head and tail of backstrip (see illus); joints and hinges sound. Top edge gilt. Slight scuffing and bumping at corners. Very minor foxing on endpapers but none whatsoever in the text or engravings.

Oxfam Bradford is a large Oxfam store housed in a beautiful Victorian building in the heart of Bradford city centre. On our ground floor we stock a wide range of quality clothing, much of which is brand new and lots of great vintage pieces. 

On our first floor you will find Bradford's largest selection of second hand books with fantastic fiction, academic and children's titles as well as a great collection of antiquarian books and collectables. We also have a large music department stocking a wide range a CDs, DVDs and a great choice in vinyl.
