Hardback; 145 x 200 mm; cream boards with titles in black on spine, and pictorial in black on front cover; 128 pages; endpaper map. No dust jacket.
The book is in good condition. Although there is no dust jacket, the book is protected by a transparent plastic jacket. The covers are grubby. The verso of the front free endpaper is annotated in blue ink: “Brenda Goodman 64 Alexandra Drive Surbiton Surrey” and the fly title “Book 29” with a small squiggle. Page ends tanned. Finger mark page 30. The odd spot of foxing. Paper quality due to Book Production War Economy Standard.
Norman Dale wrote two suspenseful series of books for children, of which Dangerous Treasure followed Secret Service!, the first book in one series, and was then followed in turn by The Best Adventure, child thrillers about Peter and Ginger.
