No date. Scarce hardback book. Dark brick red cloth cover with engraving stamped to front, back and spine. Written inscription to front end paper dated 1908. Black and white frontispiece drawn illustration facing title page, which has small drawn below title and above publisher's name (W. Nicholson & Sons Limited). Spine of cover is sun-faded, edges of the block of stitched pages is striped length wise when the book is closed (varying paper quality leads to varied darkening) and corners of cover are bumped. Otherwise, good condition and text unmarked.
