Product description

This is a possible first edition of a book first published in 1919.

Condition: fair. The cover has some damage and a small piece missing. The corners are bowed. There is a name and date on the inside cover which has been partly obliterated and the inner flyleaf is mottled. The inner title page is browned. Several of the first few pages are loose and an illustration of Napoleon is badly creased and partly torn out of the book.

The pages are rough cut and there is a small tear on the top left of the back cover. The spine is slightly separate from the book on the left hand side.
On the back inside cover there is part of a sticker that appears to be some sort of library issue sticker and there is a date 19 Jan 1934 stamped on the bottom right.
