Elementary Treatise on Natural Philosophy - Part 1

£19.99

Product description

Thick book half-bound in dark blue leather with grey cloth covered boards, however the front cloth is severely damaged and loose from the board. The rear cloth is not badly damaged but is loose in a couple of places.

The spine is heavily embossed and decorated in gilt. The title and author are in green sections between two raised bands.

The front hinge is cracked for the top quarter of its length.

Some wear to the edges and corners, which are bumped.

The page ends and endpapers are marbled.

On the ffe there is an inscription in very neat copperplate handwriting dated 1873; there is a small tear through the date.

Despite the external appearance, internally the book is in good condition, with very little foxing. Some page corners have been folded at one time.

Good reference/reading copy.
