By Rev.W.H.Tucker, M.A. (an old colleger). Undated, but in the preface the author states that he is approaching his centenary, and a note under the preface states that he died in his hundredth year in 1901, putting the date of publication around 1900. The author ascribes his longevity to the "Spartan training disclosed in these pages". Published by Griffith, Farran, Browne & Co. Limited, includes black and white illustrations.

In good used condition for age, half bound in leather, with green cloth to boards. Leather showing signs of wear, as expected with age, and some cracking to the leather at the head and tail of spine, but internally hinges are good and block is tight. Corners and head and tail of spine bumped. Gold to head of block. Small area of damage to page corners at the head of the block. Marbled end papers. A sticker inside front board headed "Ludgrove" marked as a "Leaving Book" and dated 1914. Book sellers sticker inside back cover. Pages clean and bright.
