Generalfeldmarshall von Hindenburg Aus meinem Leben

£9.99

Product description

Autobiography of German field marshal and president, Paul Von Hindenburg

Paul von Hindenburg; (2 October 1847 – 2 August 1934) was a Generalfeldmarschall and statesman who commanded the German military during the second half of World War I before later being elected President of the German Reich in 1925. He played the key role in the Nazi "Seizure of Power" in January 1933 when, under pressure, he appointed Adolf Hitler chancellor of a "Government of National Concentration", even though the Nazis were a minority in cabinet.

The book is in fair condition commensurate with its age. The top of the spine is worn and slightly torn. The cover is discoloured with age and a little moisture. Most pages are intact but a few with small parts of the top corner missing. All pages are browned around the edge with age. The three multi-page fold-out maps are detached from the book but are otherwise intact.
