"Glorious Clonoe" the Story of O'Rahilly G. F. C. (1916-1986)

£50.00

Product description

"Glorious Clonoe" the Story of O'Rahilly G. F. C. (1916-1986)
Tyrone, N. I. First published 1986 by Clonoe O'Rahilly G. F. C. pp 597.

The story of a village football team and the culture and traditions that embellish it through seventy tumultuous years.
The publication follows an appeal by the Gaelic Athletic Association, in its centenary year, that each club should record its history. O'Rahilly G.F.C rose to this challenge and this is the result.

Very good glossy dust jacket with nice gloss, very little surface wear. The jacket has slid upwards, resulting in some creasing fraying to spine area (3mm) and top corners.

Boards in fine polished black morocco with gold titles to front and spine. The rallying cry title is named after a gravestone inscription in the local churchyard.
Very good unread block on fine grade paper; unmarked. Lots of b/w images of figures past and present who helped the team along its path to stardom in the world of Gaelic football.

Most of the second-hand items you see online have been donated, by supporters like you, to our high street stores. Each item is then priced, photographed and listed on this site by our amazing team of volunteers from across the country.

After you have bought your item, our team of volunteers package and dispatch it from the Shop straight to you or your chosen recipient.

All profits from the sales of our goods go towards funding Oxfam's work around the world. We rely on your donations to sell online so please keep the cycle of goodness going!

Oxfam Bookshop Market Harborough

Oxfam is the UK's largest second hand bookseller. Oxfam bookshops offer a wider selection of books than most shops, from modern fiction and leisure interest to more specialist subjects, classics, and rare or collectable books. We also stock an attractive range of greetings cards and a good selection of stationery. Come and browse!

Could you help us by collecting donations from donors homes? Our shop receives many offers of generous donations that we have to turn down as we do not have volunteers able to collect. We would ask you to collect in your own car, at your convenience and reimburse your petrol costs. It might be a couple of times a month and would make a really big difference to our ability to make money.
