Play Script of a 1938 play by the actor and writer Norman MacOwan. The play is set in a fictional European state, in a post-revolutionary period. The Veerkind family were prosperous farmers, but now their property has been confiscated by the state.
Hardback, with jacket.

Condition: Good. Jacket unclipped, but discoloured on spine and has small tears at head and foot of spine. Slight spotting confined to beginning and end pages, otherwise text pages clean and unmarked, though tanned. Contains red paper promotional band "Glorious Morning now being performed at the Whitehall theatre", which has a closed tear.
