Handbook to the Nicholson Museum (1948)

£11.99

Product description

This a Second Edition of the Handbook to the Nicholson Museum which was published in 1948, three years after the First Edition (1945) which is now out of print.

This handbook was published in an attempt to meet the needs of University students studying subjects such as Ancient World History, Classics or Ancient Art and Archaeology. It was also used as a guide for the Nicholson Museum visitors who wished to discover further reading and information on the exhibitions.

This paperback book is in very good condition, the spine shows signs of shelf wear as can be seen in photos. The back cover has slight foxing. The pages are tightly bound and clear. The back few pages are glossy pictures of artefacts that are referenced in the book.

This would make a lovely addition to anyone who is interested in History's collection.
