Book consists of bound copies of various editions of Town and Country Magazine: December 1783, January 1784, January 1788, August 1788. Plus September 1790 copy of the Edinburgh Magazine. Compilation of births, deaths, current events, stories/poetry, theatre events (Mrs. Siddons in Lady Randolph), historical accounts, letters to the editor. Includes numerous etchings. Printed for A Hamilton Jr.

Book has leather spine, with gilt title and date 1788. Spine is chipped, worn, book is edge rubbed and shelf worn. Internally clean except for prior owner's name inscribed on end papers and title page as shown in photos. Fading and tanning throughout, but all pages are legible. Three or four pages noted with tears.

Note spine show 1788, but consists of several different editions as noted above.
