In Georgian Times: Short Character-Studies of the Great Figures of the Period

WAS £20.99 £10.49

Product description

This book was published in 1912 by George G. Harrap and Company and is without a dust jacket. The boards are red with black text and borders. There are some marks and wear from use to the front and back boards. The spine has discoloured, however the text on the spine is clear and readable. The corners of the boards and top and bottom of the spine have been bumped. There is some grey colouration/ staining to the top of the pages and some red discolouration to the bottom edge of some of the pages. The right hand edge and bottom show signs of slight tanning to the edges of the pages. There is a name of a former owner in pencil on the front paste down, this is along with some discolouration to the page, this was caused by some newspaper clippings which are included with the book (one is dated January 7th 1937), there is similar discolouration of the next three pages. There is some foxing/ brown spotting throughout the book, this doesn't effect the clarity of the text. Between pages 16 and 17 the webbing is showing. The pages are bright and readable with no rips tears or folds. The hinge is tight
