Jane's Fighting Ships 1930

£100.00

Product description

34th issue. 1930 edition. Edited by Oscar Parkes. Used hardback in good condition. Now protected in transparent plastic cover which is worn. The sticky tape affixing this cover to the paste downs (front and rear) has come adrift, leaving brown strips on these pages. The boards are in good condition but show some fading towards the spine (front board) and on the spine. The gilt lettering on the spine is still bright and legible. The edges of the text block are dusty (top edge) and show some signs of spotting. This spotting has not infiltrated into the inside of the book to any great degree. The first and last free end papers are both slightly grubby (front is an advert, last is part of an addendum). The ffep is also creased vertically. The binding is good and tight. Blue page marker ribbon with card (16.5 x 8 cm) attached advertising other publications.
