Publisher: The Highway Press, Edinburgh, 1932 , 1st edition. (Later editions were issued by George Newnes). Hardback with unclipped dustjacket, 128 pages. Cover, in light blue cloth boards with black titling to spine and front, is in very good condition commensurate with age with just a trace of fading to spine and a trace of light shelfwear. Internally the book is in very good, clean, bright and firm condition for its age with clear, unblemished pages and no tears, creases, inscriptions or significant marks. The charming, pictorial, protected dustjacket, which is not price-clipped, is in generally decent, sound and bright condition with some shelfwear to edges, a few small closed tears and creases to back and a one inch tear with loss to bottom of spine. Overall, a very presentable 1st edition copy of this highly entertaining collection of motoring and fishing stories of the Scottish Highlands with the attractive and scarce unclipped dustjacket.
