Publisher: William Heinemann, London, 1925. Hardback, 784 pages, deluxe edition with blue, grained calf cover with gilt titling and decoration to spine and front and lovely gilt sailing ship illustration on front. Top page block edge is gilded. The beautiful cover is in good condition commensurate with age with a little shelfwear to edges and spine extremities and a little fading to spine. Internally the book is in generally good / very good, bright and firm condition with just some light tanning commensurate with age, some foxing to endpapers and a neat inscription dated Xmas 1925. No creases, marks or tears. Hinge very slightly weakened at rear of front end-paper but barely noticeable and has had minimal effect on the tightness of the binding. A lovely and highly collectable edition of this poet's wonderful work including the fifty Salt-Water Ballads (Sea Fever, Sea Change, Cardigan Bay, Harbour Bar etc), Ballads and Poems, The Daffodil Fields, Philip the King and other Poems, Lollingdon Downs and other poems, Reynard the fox or the Ghost Heath , Right Royal, King Cole and Other poems and many others.
