Product description

A rare atlas comprising 60 full colour maps and an index to each map. Red quarter leather, with gilt titling to the front board and spine. The leather spine has six raised bands, with gilt decoration between the spines. The boards are scuffed and stained, with some tears to the cloth surface of the front board (with some cloth missing). There are also areas of leather missing from the spine and corners. Internally, the binding is tight. Gilt page edges. There is some scattered foxing, particularly to the endpapers, but generally the maps are intact and in very good condition. A very large and heavy book which will be sent by courier within the UK.
