Lambretta: A Practical Guide to Maintenance and Repair (Scooter maintenance and repair series)

£29.99 Out Of Stock

Product description

The iconic Lambretta motorcycle first appeared in 1947, and has remained a recognisable presence on roads all over the world ever since. Like the Mini, or the 'people's Volkswagen, or the Fiat 500 'Topolino' it is instantly recognisable to its fans, and has a personality of its own. In 1960 when this book appeared, young men were riding it everywhere, and a handbook of this kind would have been an invaluable resource. It would still be of value to anyone wishing to maintain or restore a vintage specimen.

Our (first edition) copy is in very good condition, but lacks a dust jacket. This aside, it shows almost no external signs of age, wear or use apart from two small darkish spots on the front cover, and inside, the binding is firm, and all pages are clean and bright. There is a green Foyle's bookshop sticker inside the front cover.
