Scarce "Herbert Strangs Library" edition from circa early 1900s, published by Henry Frowde / Hodder & Stoughton.

Red cloth covered picture boards and spine quite worn and stained, the corners are bumped. Endpapers are pale green with darker green picture. The front hinge is very loose, but still attached to the binding, an attempt at repair has been made with strips of sticky paper. The binding has several loose areas but there are no free pages. There is an owner's sticker on the front pastedown dated 1912 and a gift dedication on the ffe also dated 1912.
