Hardback 2nd/reprint editions, 1857 (same year as first edition). Overall very good condition, considering over 150 years of ageing. Original blue blind stamped cloth with gilt spine lettering and original frontispiece. Some marks/stains on the cover of volume 1, as well as general wear to the corners. Spine is fairly strong. No annotations - only writing is the name of a previous owner on the inside cover page. Very little foxing/browning throughout compared with what would be expected of books of this age.
