Ninety-two Days. Evelyn Waugh.

£39.99

Product description

A now rarely seen book by Evelyn Waugh. His third travel book published by Duckworth in 1934. It is the record of his journey through British Guiana (now Guyana) when in his early thirties and was already an established novelist. Indeed, this journey may have contributed ideas to his novel "A Handful of Dust." Waugh's travel writing was later consolidated and edited into "When the Going was Good" published in 1946. This copy is in good condition for its age. Blue covers faded and corners rubbed but it is firm and complete with the fold-out map. No dust jacket. One ink inscription on fep but no other marks. See seven images attached. Not ex-library.
