Illustrated with colour plates facing each verse. Unpaginated. There is no publication date stated but date of publication is believed to be 1904.

Landscape-format miniature book: buff-coloured cloth binding with colour pictorial front cover and red lettering to front cover; thick leaves printed on one side only; small ivory-coloured closure attached to rear cover fore edge by cloth ribbon tucks into cloth loop on front cover fore edge (no longer effective).

This book is in fair condition with loosely-bound pages and torn cloth closure loop, all pages remain intact; light bowing to hardcovers, green staining to top edge of front endpapers and first five leaves, light foxing/soiling internally, text and illustrations remain clear throughout.
