Cover, in fawn / ivory cloth boards with green titling and green and red decoration to spine and front, is in good condition commensurate with age, with some fading to spine, light bumping to spine extremities and corners and some marks to front and back and a little light shelfwear-related scuffing to front. Internally, the book is in generally good, clean and firm condition commensurate with age with light tanning to pages and page block edges, a little foxing here and there, a small inscription on reverse of ffep and one loose plate and a further one which is partially detached. Slight weakening of binding at title page. Text pages and the lovely colour plates are in clean, clear and bright condition. A handsome volume and a beautifully written and superbly illustrated survey of York, Ripon, Harrogate, The English Lakes and Scarborough.
