Published by HMSO in 1967; edited with an introduction by Marjorie Blatcher; Publication Number 58 of the Historical Manuscripts Commission. The report on the manuscripts preserved at Longleat, Volume IV covers the Seymour Papers 1532-1682, beginning with the arrangements for the interview between Henry VIII and Francis I at Calais. They include many state papers, especially those drawn up by Edward Seymour, Protector Somerset, and includes papers which shed light on the relationship between Elizabeth I and the Earl of Hertford.

In very good used condition bound in dark blue cloth with gold lettering. Dust jacket in very good condition, though some fading to spine.
