Collection of stories from the old testament. Illustrated. No date, but some of the illustrations are dated 1909, and the dedication on the ffe is dated 1919. Cloth bound boards with gilt title on front and spine. Colour illustration (Servant to Naaman's Wife) pasted on the front. No d/j. In fair condition. Boards faded, bumped at corners and head and tail of spine. Front board slightly warped. Edges of text block dusty and spotted. Gift dedication in ink to ffe. Light spotting throughout. Browning to half title page and last page of text. Frontispiece has fold from top to bottom. Some grubbiness on page 78. Illustration on p58 is loose. Gutter breaks on p32 and p49, otherwise the binding is sound.
